I've always been curious about designing an identity for a brand, so I created a cafe based on a prompt from Sharpen Design: design a logo for a casual restaurant in Australia.
After designing the logo, I felt something was missing, so I flushed out a brand identity for this cafe based on the color palette of coffee and Australia itself.

To create the logo, I was inspired by Australian wildlife, in this case, the Laughing Kookaburra, an iconic species in the Outback.
After experimenting with a few iterations of the Kookaburra, I settled on a rounded, almost vintage-looking logo before selecting the typeface that would best capture the feel of the cafe.
