This project began as an effort to understand my cultural heritage and easily explain it to others.

To accomplish this task, I started by picking very common deities in Hindu culture. Then, after finding the right reference image, I made a traditional pencil and paper sketch before drawing over it digitally on Procreate.
After illustrating, I researched the meaning of all the symbolism in the drawing and wrote notes.
